The outside of the table is metal; the paytable is displayed in the middle, with the deck of cards to the right and chip tray central. There is no musical accompaniment, only sound effects, which is a shame.

Gameplay of Blackjack Atlantic City

All card values are as shown in Blackjack with the exception of the Ace, which can be 1 or 11. Blackjack is the highest hand in the game and beats all, ACE+ 10 or Face Card. Playing is really very simple, so this is a great online table for new players.

  1. Place a Bet and click Deal, you will be dealt 2 cards, as will the dealer, the dealer always shows 1 card face up.
  2. Choose to Double Down your bet (double your bet and get 1 additional card, play stops immediately after), Hit (get another card for free), Stand (stop play at the total you have) or Surrender (give up and receive half your bet back). If you go over 21 you will be Bust and the dealer instantly wins.
  3. After all actions are taken on your part the dealer will reveal his cards and therefore the winner.

You may be offered some additional options at stage 2 under certain circumstances:

  • Split: If the first 2 cards you receive are of the same value you may split them and play them as separate hands. You should always split a pair of Aces or 8s.
  • Insurance: If the dealers face up card is an Ace you can take an insurance bet. This means if the dealer has Blackjack you will get 2:1 on the insurance bet, although still lose your main bet. Generally, we do not recommend taking insurance as it is rarely worth the cost.

With an RTP of 99.54%, the house edge is minimal. A normal wins pays 1:1; Blackjack 3:2 and Insurance 2:1 (only on the bet). Chips are available in 0.01, 0.50, 1, 5 and 10. Lowest bets are €0.10 and highest are €10. This makes Blackjack Atlantic City a low limits table and therefore truly accessible to all types of player.
